The new winter is underway here in Greece and that means it’s officially time to start production of the sequel film to Frozen Ambrosia ! I don’t want to reveal too much of the plot line for the movie because it’s “top” secret and classified at the highest level. All I will say is that the island of Crete will play a big part in the film.

Psiloritis, Crete
Psiloritis (known as Mount Ida in ancient times), holds a special place in the ancient mythology. The mountain was believe to be the cradle of Zeus. Zeus, along with his five siblings, were in great danger from their father, Kronos, after their birth. Kronos had been given a prophecy that one day his children would overthrow him and assume his throne.

Filming and taking photographs of outdoor adventures in the mountains is by far the most enjoyable pursuit in life for me. Here’s a short film, the first of a series on various people in the Greek mountain community, produced by Klaoudatos SkiTV and directed by Greek mountain filmmaker Christos Tsoutsias. In the film I explain a bit more about the craft of filming in the mountains and what my motivations are. I’m very proud to have participated in this series from Klaoudatos and Christos.
